You will need a patter installer program to use these files. These files will both work with Before Dark and Texture Installer. They will probably work with wallpaper and other popular programs as well.
The first PPAT is 256x256 in size and in thousands of colors. It is Vikki 'RAW' PPAT and on some macs (including mine will only display the full 256x256 is you are running your monitor at the 256 colors setting, otherwise you get a 256x128 choped in half version.
The second PPAT Vikki 2 head 'raw' PPAT is 128x128 pixels in size. This works fine in Thousands color mode. It shows a closeup (although scaled down quite a bit for the original size.
Virtual VIKKI is my first computer generated critter. I bought a program called Animation Master in Jan of 1994 and have been messing around with it for a while. Even though MacUser and MacWorld panned it (it does have a lousy manual) the company that created it has been supportive and fantastic to me (even when thier product was not). Even though I have had many problems with the program they have sent me no less that six free updates and the answers to all of my questions are just a few 'free' phone calls away.
